ASIA AT A GLANCE
Asia is home to more than half of humanity, the world's largest emitters and its fastest growing clean energy industries. What happens here shapes the climate for everyone.

WHAT IS CHANGING
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
Rice farmers and fishers, engineers and monks, students and grandparents, in hundreds of languages. Asia Climate Month has a place for all of them.
ROTARY IN ASIA
Asia has some of the largest and fastest growing Rotary membership in the world, especially in India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and the Philippines. Clubs plant mangroves, clean rivers and bring clean water to schools. The 2026 Rotary International Convention was held in Taipei. Environment became Rotary's seventh area of focus in 2021.
WHO IS DOING THE WORK
Government bodies, science centers, nonprofits, conservation groups, farmers' networks, youth movements and Rotary. Search by name or filter by type.
ADD YOUR EVENT
Clean-ups, tree plantings, talks, film nights, farm days, beach days and Rotary projects all count. Every entry is reviewed before it appears on the calendar and the map.
OUR FAMILY OF WEBSITES
Asia Climate Month is one of more than 80 project websites built by the Rotary Club of Newport Beach, ESRAG members and partners. Each one tells the story of real people doing real work.
